We hope you will join us at one of our worship services to see for yourself what we’re about. You will experience uplifting music and messages, friendly people and a sense of belonging.
7:50am Traditional Worship Service
We like to call this our early riser service, we meet in the Sanctuary and if you join us you will find it’s a great way to begin the Lord’s Day and still have time for breakfast! This service led by our very capable traditional music leader as well as our very talented piano player includes traditional hymn selections. Very often we also include special musical pieces including both vocal and instrumental. Together with the message, prayers and communion available each Sunday you will leave this service feeling uplifted and ready for the week ahead.
10:30am Traditional Worship Service
Not exactly the same as our 7:50am service, this service has its own character and also meets in the Sanctuary. In addition to providing the same traditional worship experience as the early service we add a few more twists. This service includes the Chancel Choir (Sept-May), the bell choir (7:50am does have the bells as well sometimes), and once a month a more up tempo setting for worship found in our Hymnal. Here you will find a greater inter-generational mix of attendees. Once again communion is available each Sunday!
9:00am Contemporary Worship Service
For those who are looking for a worship experience that includes a more contemporary and casual feel then this is the service for you. We meet in the COC (Center of Compassion-a 22,000sq. ft. multi use building on the North side of our campus). At this service you will hear an upbeat message and a variety of music offered up from our Praise Team under the direction of our Contemporary Worship Leader. The tempo is upbeat, the song selection matches what you might find on Contemporary Christian Radio today and the vocals together with the instrumentals are full and rich. This service also takes into account everyone in the family as children are invited to come forward for brief message/story about Jesus love each week. A variety of media is used to enhance our worship time as we sometimes share brief video excerpts pertaining to the message or theme of day, or perhaps a skit etc. You never know when you might experience a Baptism or a Blessing for a group going to camp or a presentation for a service project all the while feeling a sense of real connection to our Lord and
Communion is available each Sunday!
Prepare for Holy Week by participating in Mid-Week Lenten Worship THROUGH March 21, 2018.
Soup Supper will be offered at 6:00PM in the Fellowship Hall adjoining the Sanctuary followed by Wednesday night worship at 6:45PM.
Our Lenten worship focus IS on the Christian teaching of Atonement. Atonement is the teaching of the doctrine concerning the reconciliation of God and humankind, especially as accomplished through the life, suffering, and death of Christ. Each week, as we contemplate Jesus’ journey to the cross, we will look at the traditional teachings of atonement and explore some other explanations that Christians have come to see in God’s amazing act of love expressed through the cross.
