Christmas is around the corner and so is the annual Music Ministry Christmas Dinner. Mark your calendars for Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6pm in the COC. We are trying a different, more relaxing approach this year, so no table hosts are needed. We will still have the wonderful band, Titanium, who whose line-up includes crowd-favorite oldies, Christmas songs and a medley of Queen hits. The band will be joined this year by our Master of Ceremonies, Tom Osterman, who will serenade us with his well-known impersonations of Neil Diamond, Nat King Cole, and more. Together they will rock the place and provide an evening of top-notch entertainment!
Besides the entertainment, the night will include a wonderful catered dinner, our annual silent auction and we're adding in raffle items, too. It's a great opportunity to bring together the whole family and include your friends and neighbors! Ticket sales will begin November 4th (after each service) and prices are very affordable: $20 per person, $40 per couple, or $50 per family. Look for us each week until the day of the event.
Beyond buying a ticket (or two or sponsoring a table), how can you help? We are looking for volunteers to help the night of the event and also need silent auction donations! Maybe you have a cabin you would donate as a weekend get-away, or you may be a world class chef who can donate a homemade gourmet dinner or you may be an arts & crafts pro who assembles a themed basket full of great things. We appreciate anything you have to offer. Please contact Ginny Williams at 602-818-8156 or via email at to sign up as a volunteer, donate auction items or with any questions. Sign-up sheets for volunteers are already available on the ministry tables.
The music ministry team relies on this fundraiser so they are able to continue providing great music for LOC's congregation. Our sincerest thanks to everyone for helping to make this a five-star event.
